Sarah Burrows Design is a boutique interior design company based in Whangarei. They specialise in creating beautiful and functional kitchens, and pairing them with timeless interiors and bold colour schemes.
We sat down with Sarah to chat colour and design (our favourite things!)
Sarah: I have been in the industry for over 10 years now. I love collaborating with architects, trades and suppliers to create a fantastic result for our clients.
Attending the Milan Design Fair every 2 years; overseas travel; working with colour, and the theory behind it; teaching our clients how to be confident with colour and lighting.
Being able to work with a 1960s home and using the existing features such as the brick and the timber floors; having my kitchen gifted from a Homeshow I was part of for 3 years.
I love the strong use of green, Dekton benchtops in the kitchen, laser edge doors, velvets in rust orange tones, and the large window-like mirrors that create drama and carry repetition.
I'm loving Cut the Mustard (which we're currently using in a clients master bedroom), and of course my living room colour, Chevron.
