“Working with my good friends at Aalto Paint was a thoroughly enjoyable process, initially sampling their beautiful colours from their swatch book to curate the perfect mood for my project, where they send you test pots and swatches that you can test, and integrate with your materials palette at design process, to requesting bespoke edits and variations to my chosen colour set for finishing. Aalto make the paint speccing process seamless and engaging. Their Penrose showroom is immersive, and a must see to experience for their bespoke mixing process. I opted for my interpretation of ‘perfect’ white which is their Detach colour, tinted to an 8th, which I went for satin/matt finish on the walls interior and exterior, and gloss on the architraves, door jams, and windows. My feature wall in their Ultra Marine Blue is my favourite colour they do because I am a Pisces and it sings from my song sheet."
