Ultilising the latest technologies, Aalto Ultimate Interior Matt is suitable for all areas of the home, including kitchens and bathrooms. Highly washable, super tough, scuff resistant, and enhanced with anti-bacterial and anti-mould additives, it’s our most advanced paint yet. Low VOC and low odour, and ideal for all interior walls, ceilings and trims.
- Typical uses: all interior spaces - walls, ceilings, trims and doors, including wet areas
- Ideal for: previously painted surfaces, new Gib®, plaster, bare timber, brick
- Coverage: 10-12m2 per litre
- Sheen level: matt 2% gloss
Application guide
Aalto Ultimate Interior Matt can be applied by synthetic brush, roller, or spray.
Airless spray – a 415 or 515 tip is recommended. When spraying, Aalto Ultimate Interior Matt may need thinning to suit.
Rolling – a synthetic 10mm nap roller sleeve is recommended.
- Ensure surfaces are dry and free from dirt, dust, oils, grease or other contaminants. If mould is present, treat with a suitable cleaner.
- Fill any cracks or holes with a paintable filler. Allow to dry, and sand to a smooth finish.
- Spot prime any repair work with Aalto 3 in 1 Undercoat
- Stir paint thoroughly with a broad, flat paddle, using an up and down scooping motion.
- Apply 2 coats of Aalto Ultimate Interior Matt, allowing 2 hours between coats.
