Aotearoa Art Fair 2026 • Aalto Paint

Kurutai Collective was a showcase of contemporary ceramics by Māori artists

Aalto have a long-standing love of design across all disciplines, including the arts

Over four days at Auckland’s Viaduct Events Centre, Aotearoa Art Fair once again brought together the best of contemporary art from across Aotearoa and beyond. More than 60 galleries transformed the waterfront venue into a vibrant meeting place for artists, collectors, curators and visitors, with live installations, guided tours, conversations and performances unfolding across the fair.

Proud to be a supporting partner

As a proud partner of the fair, Aalto supplied paint (and colour) for the event, helping shape the backdrop against which this year’s works were experienced. Our iconic Gallery White created a neutral, considered canvas across the wider fair, while bold Ultramarine Blue appeared throughout the event identity and exhibition spaces.

Additionally, a number of galleries and artists incorporated Aalto colours within their exhibits, using carefully selected hues to shape atmosphere and deepen the relationship between artwork and environment. From soft mineral neutrals to saturated, expressive hues, colour became an integral part of how each space was experienced.

“ For Aalto, colour has always been deeply connected to art and design. The Aotearoa Art Fair was an opportunity to showcase how colour can shape and define the atmosphere of a space. ” —
