Specifications
Aalto Tradeline Waterbased Enamel Satin is a professional quality waterbased enamel in a satin finish for interior surfaces. Ideal for windows, trims, doors and walls.
- Typical uses: interior trim, windows and doors; interior walls where a hard-wearing finish is required
- Ideal for: Previously painted surfaces, new Gib®, plaster, timber
- Coverage: 10-12m2 per litre
- Sheen level: satin 20% gloss
Application guide
Aalto Tradeline Waterbased Enamel Satin can be applied by synthetic brush, roller, or spray.
Airless spray – a 415 or 515 tip is recommended. When spraying, Aalto Tradeline Waterbased Enamel Satin will need to be thinned to suit.
Rolling – a synthetic 6-8mm nap roller sleeve is recommended.
Old enamels will require fine sanding to a uniform dull finish.
- Ensure surfaces are dry and free from dirt, dust, oils, grease or other contaminants. If mould is present, treat with a suitable cleaner.
- Fill any cracks or holes with a paintable filler. Allow to dry, and sand to a smooth finish.
- Spot prime any repair work with Aalto 3 in 1 Undercoat
- Stir paint thoroughly with a broad, flat paddle, using an up and down scooping motion.
- Apply 2 coats of Aalto Tradeline Waterbased Enamel Satin, allowing 2 hours between coats.
