Roof Paint

Aalto Ultra Premium Roof Paint is a premium waterbased and self-priming paint in a satin finish for roofs. This 100% acrylic paint utilises the latest technologies to provide superior adhesion and protection to all common roof substrates, including galvanised iron, Zincalume®, aged Colorsteel® and concrete tiles. Can also be use on all other common exterior substrates.

• Ideal for: galvanised iron, aged Colorsteel®, zincalume, concrete tiles, and most other exterior substrates
• Coverage: 12-14m² per litre
• Sheen level: satin 20% gloss

Aalto Ultra Premium Roof Paint can be applied by synthetic brush, roller, or spray.

Airless spray – a 417 or 517 tip is recommended.
Rolling – a premium synthetic roller sleeve is recommended.

1. Ensure surfaces are dry and free from dirt, dust, oils, grease or other contaminants. If mould is present, treat with a suitable cleaner.
2. Spot prime any repair bare areas with Procoat Galvanised Iron Primer.
3. If rust is present, treat and prime with Procoat Oil Based Galvanised Iron Primer.
4. Stir paint thoroughly with a broad, flat paddle, using an up and down scooping motion.
5. Apply 2-3 coats of Aalto Ultra Premium Roof Paint, allowing 2 hours between coats.
