Flexibuild

Aalto Ultra Premium Exterior Flexibuild is a premium waterbased paint in a satin finish designed for repainting plaster homes. The unique high build formulation allows the paint to be applied at twice the normal thickness, bridging fine hairline cracks in aged plaster, and providing a beautiful and durable protective coating.

• Typical uses: exterior thin film plaster, solid plaster, concrete block
• Ideal for: previously painted exterior plaster surfaces
• Coverage: 6-8m² per litre
• Sheen level: low sheen 10% gloss

Aalto Ultra Premium Exterior Flexibuild can be applied by synthetic brush, roller, or spray.

Airless spray – a 523 tip or larger is recommended due to the fibres in the paint, and a coarse filter should be used.
Rolling – a premium synthetic roller sleeve is recommended.

1. Ensure surfaces are dry and free from dirt, dust, oils, grease or other contaminants. If mould is present, treat with a suitable cleaner.

2. Fill any cracks larger than 2mm with a suitable exterior paintable filler.

3. Spot prime any repair work with Aalto 3 in 1 Undercoat
4. Stir paint thoroughly with a broad, flat paddle, using an up and down scooping motion.
5. Apply 2 coats of Aalto Ultra Premium Exterior Flexibuild , allowing 2 hours between coats.
