Procoat Roof Clean Concentrate is a high strength cleaner designed to treat and remove moss, mould, algae and lichen from most common exterior surfaces, including roofs.
Procoat Roof Clean Concentrate contains a special blend of biodegradable surfactants to ensure maximum performance.
Application guide
If planning on painting immediately —
Dilute 1 part Procoat Roof Clean with 6 parts water. Apply with low pressure spray. Waterblast, or scrub with a stiff bristle broom using copious amounts of fresh water to remove dirt, moss and all loose material.
If planning on painting in 10-12 weeks, or for general cleaning —
Dilute 1 part Procoat Roof Clean with 20 parts water. Apply with low pressure spray, fully saturating the surface.
Procoat Roof Clean performs best when applied in overcast conditions to avoid rapid evaporation. Do not apply if rain is expected within 4-5 hours. For best results re-wet again slightly when the surface begins to dry out. Do not rinse off.
If treating roofs used for the collection of drinking water, ensure the water supply is disconnected until a minimum of 5 rainfalls or 30mm of rain has fallen.
