A bespoke dusky rose, created in collaboration with Saben for their flagship Ponsonby store.

We understand the importance, and power, of colour. So when Saben and the team at Wonder Group approached us to work with them on their new Ponsonby flagship store, we immediately knew that this was a time to create something special.

Saben had previously used Aalto hue's throughout their stores. But the story around this store opening inspired us to go a step further and create a bespoke hue—Lucky Thing. A reimagining of the dusky pink woven throughout their brand, Lucky Thing was designed to create a warm, inviting, and fully immersive space for the Saben shopper. 

"Perhaps the most distinctive detail in the new flagship is the colour of its walls. The interior is painted entirely in Lucky Thing—a bespoke shade created in collaboration with Aalto, the New Zealand-made paint company renowned for its high-quality, multi-pigmented paints.

Dusky Rose has long been woven through Sabens's visual identity—a hue that signals warmth and femininity. Lucky Thing translates that identity into the architecture of the store itself. It is a colour that feels unmistakably SABEN: soft but confident, familiar but entirely its own.
