The new Commercial Bay store embodies the signature aesthetic of Juliette Hogan
Designed to reflect the quiet luxury of Juliette Hogan, this beautifully curated space features softly textured walls in Aalto Soft Cream, paired with crisp Aalto White Space for a sense of calm and clarity.
Warmth is layered through American Oak detailing, which was reclaimed from previous stores, and bespoke fixtures that celebrate materiality and restraint.

The fit-out showcases custom blackened brass fixtures, crafted by our friends at MSME in Warkworth, mirroring those found in our Christchurch and Newmarket boutiques. A long, elegant rack traces the contours of the store, drawing the eye inward. Adding another layer of texture, we chose Aalto Impasto in Soft Cream for this wall, offering a subtle warmth and depth in contrast to the rest of the store, which is painted in Aalto White Space.
Floating racks create an intimate and private atmosphere around the changing rooms complemented by the softness and warmth of a custom NZ Wool Bremworth Galet rug.
Sustainability and longevity remain at the heart of our design ethos. We have preserved the beautifully structured American Oak changing rooms - an inheritance from the previous tenant, Kate Sylvester - breathing new life into them for years to come. In a similar spirit, our strong and timeless IMO counter has been repurposed from Britomart, while the Simon James Isabella Chairs, formerly at home in our Ponsonby store, have been reupholstered in James Dunlop Tahiti fabric in Olive by our talented workroom neighbours at Finewood Furniture. These carefully considered details, paired with tonal, textural curtains, create a space that is both sophisticated and inviting.
