Exterior Paint Low Sheen

Aalto Ultra Premium Exterior Low Sheen is a premium waterbased and self priming paint for exterior surfaces. This reinforced acrylic paint has been formulated to provide a washable and UV resistant finish to common exterior substrates including weatherboards, timber, concrete and galvanised iron.

• Typical uses: exterior applications
• Ideal for: new and previously painted weatherboards, timber, galvanised iron, concrete, steel
• Coverage: 12-14m² per litre
• Sheen level: low sheen 10% gloss

Aalto Ultra Premium Exterior Low Sheen can be applied by synthetic brush, roller, or spray.

Airless spray – a 415 or 417 tip is recommended for weatherboards and smooth surfaces, and a 517 tip is recommended for textured surfaces, followed by back rolling.
Rolling – a premium synthetic roller sleeve is recommended.

1. Ensure surfaces are dry and free from dirt, dust, oils, grease or other contaminants. If mould is present, treat with a suitable cleaner.
2. Fill any cracks or holes with a paintable filler. Allow to dry, and sand to a smooth finish.
3. Spot prime any repair work with Aalto 3 in 1 Undercoat
4. Stir paint thoroughly with a broad, flat paddle, using an up and down scooping motion.
5. Apply 2-3 coats of Aalto Ultra Premium Exterior Low Sheen, allowing 2 hours between coats.
